My online business story (california incorporation online)
By Ben Needles
My Story
When I first heard about this program, I was pretty skeptical. It just sounded too good to be true. I discovered that one of the Top Watchdogs in theIndustry gave them a 5 Star Rating and they were a part of a prestigious online protection group: The Consumer Advocacy Program. I was still concerned that I would just give my money and I would never hear from anyonefrom the company again - ripped off by yet another scam. My fears aside, I decided that my dreams were worth taking the risk, so I went for it.Im so glad I did!! This is such a great program. Ive also learned that so many other people love it, too from the testimonials at http://www.marygerstensuccess.com.
If youre skeptical, I suggest you
go for it!! I think youll be glad you did, too!!!
Success in business is a rare thing. Most businesses fail today, not because they were built upon bad ideas, but because most business owners do not focus on what truly makes the difference between success and failure.
There is one skill, above and beyond any other skill, that is critical to your success in business. If you do not learn to adapt this skill, your business idea will probably either fail or not reach your intended level of success like ninety-eight percent of all start up businesses in the world today. It does not matter whether you are running a restaurant, a retail store, an Internet business, or a h@me-based business; the necessity is still the same. This one skill is the biggest reason for success and failure in business.
Oprah knows the secret; so does Time Warner, Ted Tuner,
McDonalds, Google, and Bill Gates. I could go on and on.They know the secret. Do you?
What is the secret?
It is the art and science of Media Placement. This one skill reaps more rewards than any other aspect of business. You want to become a Media Placement Specialist. You might ask, What is a Media Placement Specialist? Well, first of all, this is not about getting a certification to put on your resume to get a job. It is how to specialize in the skill of placing media to promote your business. It is also bigger than traditional marketing.
When someone masters the art and science of placing media, they start to control the game. If they master many areas, they are what many experts call a media mogul. A media mogul controls different forms of media and, ultimately, marketing.
Oprah Winfrey is a great example. She is self-made. She is a self-made billionaire media mogul. Oprah is now the owner of Harpo Productions, has her own TV show, had a radio show, and does print media and Internet marketing. When you master the art and science of media placement, the idea is simple. Start small, and find one or two methods of media placement that work for you. You could start by trying Internet media placement, direct mail, pay-per-click,co-registration, or articles. The idea is to find a couple of means, start them working for you, and then you can grow your business and expand the types and amounts of media you use.
Today, Internet marketing is one of many media placement strategies you could use. It could be the single fastest, least expensive, low-risk type of media available today if you take the time to learn some of the secrets. Once you do your testing on the Internet, it makes it easy to expand into other types of media quickly.
There are many resources you can find that are available to learn the art of marketing, but there are very resources that teach the mastery of media placement. Take the time to learn it. It could become the best investment you have ever made.

Ideas For Choosing A Cool Company Name
By Jerry Glynn
Choosing a cool company name means choosing a name that your customers, and your competition will remember and identify. You will want o pick a name that says something about your business and your philosophy, but this is not always as easy as it sounds. That is why many businesses, particularly small businesses opt for using the last name of the owner followed by the type of business. Smiths Funeral Home, Daltons Hardware, etc. Others opt for the town that they live in as an add in. Smiths San Diego Plumbing, or simply San Diego Plumbing. This may help you target your local area and appear to the be the first local choice as well.
A cool company name does not need to be stuffy, but if you are going to be working with large companies, you should also consider how your name sounds in the corporate world. This is why many businesses have the word consulting in their name. Many companies opt for naming their business after an animal, because they can then use the animal in their business logo.
If you do not have a business logo, this is an absolute essential. Particularly if you do not have an especially large marketing budget, and your business does not necessarily have to be about animals either. Look at AFLAC, and Geico, for example. Who can forget that duck or that lizard. Before you commit to an animal name, however, take the time to come up with three words that describe your business and then see if you shorten them into one word. Just make sure that whatever you come up with is easy to spell, pronounce, and remember.
Write down some synonyms that correspond with what you do and try to incorporate these into a name. Think about how you would like others to view your business, and incorporate some adverbs and adjectives into the list as well, then try to put them together. Be sure not to limit your business by choosing a name that is not representative of all of the services that you offer and products that you sell. In other words, make sure that the cool company name that you choose accurately reflects the mission of your company. This may seem like a lot of information to take in, but remember, the name that you choose will be the first impression that people will have of your business, so it is worth it to take the time and chose carefully, even if you have to go through a few trial names at first.

Your Resource For Incorporating A Business Online
Useless Pay Per Clicks
By Alvaro Avila
One year ago I finally started building my very own page. Internet guitar video lessons. This is my field of expertise and that is what I do best. For years and years, I have not been able to provide my service (private lessons) to all the students who call me because I cannot be in two places at the same time. Therefore, the web idea was great. After a full year of hard work, sacrificing time, holidays, vacation, etc. I recorded my video lessons and got my site fully functional and automated. You subscribe to my lessons; you receive access codes to the safe area and Yes! You can view and download my videos. Study acoustic and electric guitar from the comfort of your home or office. No traffic rush, no unexpectedly be forced to miss class, just relax and have fun. Now how do I let people know about my web site…Pay Per Clicks of course. How else could I bring targeted visitors to my site, if customers have no knowledge of my existence?
So I opened search marketing accounts and risk hard earned dollars from my humble savings account believing that this is going to turn into profits but guess what?
Nobody warned me I have to do a niche study BEFORE you start any web related business.
Turns out, there are zillions of guitar lesson online teachers and my web site is always getting traffic but very little conversions.
The next months I get really into search marketing techniques and options and my paid ads generate clicks with no trouble but still the incredible amount of FREE lessons all over the web lead people to believe that paying is not necessary and I say this because I analyze the stats of visitors every day.
Believe it or not, I offer 4 lessons for FREE TRIAL and visitors (people who already read my ad saying that they have to pay for a subscription, also explaining very clearly that my lessons are designed for BEGINNERS) do not enter the free lessons page. Can you believe it?… You go out to look for a Jazz cd, you see the ad for a Jazz cd store, you go inside, they offer you to listen to cd for free before buying it, but you walk out without trying.
First month I spend $200 on PPCs. Got 1100 visits but I used the wrong keywords (I was a newbie). Second month $150=800 visits. Third month $60=300 visits (from correct keywords). But still, very little conversions. Now I decided to pay only $1 dollar a day and use article marketing to improve traffic.
The video size image is excellent; instructions are simple and clear. The system is proven (I have 20 years experience as a guitar teacher) I am always overbooked. The customer can try for free, the software works great. I have a support center with tips and links. Technology at its best.
Can you really know whats on your visitors mind by analyzing stats and keywords?
I dont think so.
Search your niche before you preach
